One definition for a dakini or daka is a tantric priestess/ priest,shamanic healer, intimate teacher of tantra yoga, muse for the mind -body-soul, and an embodiment of spontaneous wisdom, bliss, andliberation.
This is a chance to deepen your tantra yoga practice and study,enhance your professional healing art of any kind, and enrich personalloving relationships.
Vajrayogini awakening is a comprehensive dakini training for thosewho wish to hold the role in both personal and sacred professionalservice realms.
In this program we will explore:

Each day will include a luscious tantra yoga practice rich indirect experience: pranayam, mantra, mudra, internal yoga, asana,yantra meditation, diety yoga, and the potent, and partner yogas.
There will be optional light touch & energy work practice with partners, and no explicit practice between participants in the public teachings.
Anyone is welcome to attend this training, however, certification and blessing from the teacher to practice requirescompletion of one private empowerment in addition to the Vajrayogini Awakening training intensive.

Bast was initiated at 17 years of age by her root teacher,ShoShanna Rose, a cross-cultural mystic and modern devadasi carryingteachings and initiations from Tibetan Buddhist tantra, IndianSakta-tantra, ancient Egyptian Awalim women's mystery tradition, aswell as Native-American, Sufi, and pagan spiritual traditions.

ShoShanna recognized Bast as a Dakini and encouraged her path as apriestess, healer, ritual artist, tantric yoga teacher, and modern Temple Dancer.
Her path ignited, she later sought teachings with Margot Anand, Jwala, Mantak Chia, Bodhi Avinasha, Goddess Martine, Malia Oliver, Jerry Ya, Shakti Shen, Triambika, Chandra Devi, Shivakti Shaktiva, and underwent apprenticeship and initiation as a dakini, a tantric healing practitioner and guide with several mentors. Bast spent 15 years as a devout student of different forms of yogain cluding Kundalini, Iyengar, Anusara tantra, Raja, and Yin, with three years of private study in Vini and Ashtanga yoga. She completed the interdisciplinary teacher training at the Nosara Yoga Institute.
Bast's lineage stream comes from all she has gathered from herteachers, her own rich personal practice, and from divine sourceitself. She serves with integrity, reverence, love, and bhakti!
